“Taryn Noelle Swings,” is a musical tribute to our gifted female vocalist, Taryn Noelle, and an album made up entirely of her most requested songs. “Taryn Noelle Swings” is a much-anticipated celebration honoring Taryn for more than a decade of stellar performances with Rick & The All-Star Ramblers Western Swing Band throughout the region.
She joined the Ramblers in the Summer of 2007 and, along with her nearly 100 live concert performances with the band, has been featured on four previous Rick & The Ramblers CD releases prior to this album showcasing her heart-melting vocals.
“Taryn Noelle Swings” is her first Airflyte Records release and is a true “Best Of” compilation of her most popular recorded performances with the Ramblers. Taryn Noelle, of Stowe, was honored as the “Western Swing Female Vocalist of the Year” at the 23 Annual Academy of Western Artists (AWA) Will Rogers Awards Ceremony in Fort Worth, Texas, the birthplace of Western Swing Music. “Taryn Noelle Swings,” was also a final five AWA nominee for “Western Swing Album of the Year” and one of the songs, “Swing of the Range,” was nominated for the “Western Swing Song of the Year” award.
Taryn Noelle is the 2017 recipient of the Ellen McCulloch-Lovell Award in Arts Education from the Vermont Arts Council & the Governor of Vermont and Vermont music correspondent Art Edelstein named “Taryn Noelle Swings” as the “Best Singer Album of the Year” in the Barre Times Argus TAMMIE Awards published on December 30th.
